Okay so you've started to learn to play the guitar and got the guitar bug. Great, step one done! Now whats next? Well, i would say time management is one of the most important tools to super charge your progress. Your time is your most important asset as a student of the guitar, studies show that learning is best done in short thirty minute intervals; break your guitar practice time into thirty minute intervals using a timer to let you know when you'r done. After your first practice session go do something totally unrelated to music, e.g wash the pots, mow the grass etc. When you come back your brain will be primed to most effectively learn and practice your guitar.
